Integrations

Connect your most important tech seamlessly and effortlessly.

Overview

Integrations in Finpace allow you to connect your existing tools and systems to streamline data flow and automate processes across your entire workflow. From CRMs to email platforms, Finpace integrations ensure your operations are synchronized, reducing manual work and improving efficiency.

Configure Integrations

To add or manage integrations, navigate to Finpace > Management > Integrations. Here, you'll find a list of all available integrations and their current status.

To add a new integration, click on the Icon container you want to connect Finpace to.

Success

Once an integration is active, you'll see a notification at the top right hand of your screen.

Common Integrations

  • CRMs: Sync customer data and activities between Finpace and popular CRMs like Wealthbox or Redtail.
  • Email Marketing: Link Finpace with services like Mailchimp to include public form links in branded email campaigns.
  • Document Signing: Connect with e-signature platforms such as DocuSign to streamline the document signing process directly within Finpace.

Integration Settings

Each CRM integration has customizable settings that allow you to tailor how the integration works for your team. To edit these settings, go to Finpace > Management > Integrations, and at the top right hand of your screen, click CRM Field Mapper. You can adjust details like field mappings within Templates, and more.

Default Integration Behavior

By default, newly added integrations in Finpace will sync data automatically at specified intervals. You can override this behavior by adjusting the settings within each integration. For example, you might want to switch from automatic syncing to manual syncs if you prefer more control over when data is transferred. Details on this customization can be found in the Automation Hub article.

Managing Duplicates

If an integration detects duplicate entries, Finpace will handle these issues automatically by merging the contact details assigned to their specific and unique email address. This is to ensure you don't have 3 John Smiths that are exactly the same, never knowing which one to work from.

Integration-Specific Automation

Finpace supports integration-specific automation rules. For example, you can set up automations that trigger based on certain actions within an integrated platform. This could include sending an automated follow-up email when a new customer is added via your CRM integration, or auto-filing completed forms to your cloud storage. The best way to accomplish this is by connecting Finpace with Zapier. Here is an article that could help you do this quickly and effectively.

Monitoring and Troubleshooting

To ensure your integrations are functioning correctly, Finpace provides real-time monitoring and logs for each connected service. You can access these logs in Settings > Integrations > Logs. Here, you can view the status of recent syncs, check for errors, and troubleshoot any issues that arise.

If an integration fails, Finpace will notify you and provide guidance on how to resolve the issue. Common issues might include authentication errors, data format mismatches, or API rate limits. Detailed instructions for resolving these are available in our documentation.

Conclusion

Integrations are a powerful feature of Finpace that allow you to enhance your workflow by connecting your existing tools and automating data processes. By leveraging these integrations, you can save time, reduce manual errors, and keep your operations running smoothly.

FAQs

Do you support Fidelity?

We may in the future but it's not on the roadmap for now as they require us to pay them upfront and monthly for the integration, even though we are making their process easier. When they change this policy, we will gladly investigate an integration relationship.

Will you offer a mobile app?

Not on the roadmap at this point in time as our best experience is on the web, as well as on your laptop or other personal computer with a larger screen.
