The first page you'll see when you access your Settings within Finpace.

Overview

Your settings page is where you will adjust your preferences as well as brand identities for your organization.

Home Settings

Go to Finpace > Settings by clicking on the circle with your initial or picture in the upper right and select Settings.

Firm Admins, Advisors, Support Team Members (logged into their own personal dashboard) will be able to:

  • Update account details
  • Upload and remove firm and advisor disclosures
  • Change notification settings within that particular workspace
  • Add or remove social media links
  • Configure fee settings for client accounts

Firm Admins can adjust Support Team member capabilities via Firm Settings.

General

Go to Finpace > Settings > General to change your profile details.

As an advisor and/or firm admin, you have the ability to edit:

  • Account details (name, phone number, fees, etc.)
  • Social media links
  • Firm/advisor-specific disclosures
  • Notification settings
  • Email address

Disclosures

Adding disclosures is a very simple task. Firm admins and/or advisors can upload, remove and update firm specific disclosures under Finpace > Settings > Disclosures. Please remember this action is reversible.

Notifications

Adjusting your notifications can be done here: Finpace > Settings > Notifications, and is as simple as clicking a toggle on or off. Once you adjust a notification setting you will see a "slide-in-right" interaction at the top right of your screen. This will indicate successes or errors.

Notification settings change success:

Change Email

Whenever you need to change your email within Finpace for whatever reason, you can do so in seconds by navigating to Finpace > Settings > Change Email. Simply add the new email address you want associated with your Finpace account, click Save Changes, and voilà! It's done in less than a second.

To ensure this was not done by accident, Finpace requires you to confirm the change by inputting the one-time access code sent to your new email. Successful input of this code will lock in the change.

This action can be reversed.


If you do not wish this change to remain in effect, simply refresh your window without clicking Save Changes or move on with another order of business in your dashboard. Finpace will not initiate the change without your one-time code confirmation.

Yes, if you do not want the email change to remain in effect, you can refresh your window without clicking Save Changes. Finpace will not complete the change without confirmation from your one-time code.

How do I adjust notification settings?

To adjust your notifications, go to Finpace > Settings > Notifications. You can toggle settings on or off, and a "slide-in-right" interaction at the top of your screen will confirm whether your changes were successful.

Can Firm Admins control notification settings for other users?

No, Firm Admins cannot control notification settings for Advisors or Support Team members. Each user can adjust their own settings within their personal dashboard.
